Yaya was looking for a body transformation. She struggled with her weight for 5-6 years while going through a dark period in her life, and to address it, she underwent weight loss surgery. Cornelio was thin, but he knew he wasn’t in shape. Working as a mechanic for the past 20 years, he’d been dealing with lower back problems and felt his core was weak. He wanted to become stronger to address the pain he was experiencing and his overall fitness.

Courtney wanted to take permanent action with losing weight and getting healthy. She had tried many different programs in the past, and even though they all brought her some measure of success, she always gained the weight back.

Courtney also suffers from irregular periods caused by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a hormone condition that affects fertility. One of the causes of PCOS is unbalanced insulin levels; Courtney’s doctor advised her that losing weight could help her balance insulin levels and conceive a baby.

Since she wanted a sustainable way to lose weight, she sought the help of Baltazar Villanueva. She needed a coach to keep her on track with her nutrition, and help her be more confident at the gym.

Right off the bat, she knew Baltazar was a great fit for her. He got her on a plan to eat healthier, and in fact, eating more than she was used to. One of the key concepts he taught her was that you don’t need to starve yourself to lose weight because you need to eat to restart your metabolism. He gave her healthy recipes that fit her lifestyle, and options to replace unhealthy cravings.

Josue knew he needed accountability if he wanted to meet his fitness goals. In his youth he’d been very active, but the demands of running a business and having a family led to a more sedentary lifestyle. Now feeling tired and out of shape, he wanted a trainer to help him get back to his previous level of physicality.
