A personal battle with body dysmorphia led Baltazar down a self-destructive path of too much exercise, and not enough food. Needing to feel better, he stopped prioritizing weight over wellness, and began his formal education in nutrition and fitness. As a Dual-Certified Hormone & Thyroid Specialist, Baltazar modifies training and nutrition guidelines to align with each phase of a woman’s 30-day hormone cycle:

  • Follicular Phase: Hormone levels are lower during the first phase of the month which allows for maximum training efforts because your body has an easier time staying hydrated, developing muscle, and metabolizing carbohydrates.
  • Luteal Phase: Hormone levels are higher during the second half of the month when the body responds better to lower-intensity workouts, and requires greater effort to avoid dehydration and access stored energy.

Yaya was looking for a body transformation. She struggled with her weight for 5-6 years while going through a dark period in her life, and to address it, she underwent weight loss surgery. While it helped her drop a lot of weight, she still felt self-conscious in her body. She wanted to be more fit, be stronger, and rebuild her confidence.

Training programs are tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, goals and lifestyle. Most clients benefit from a regular schedule of 2-3 workouts per week, for at least 6 months.
Clients can select the location of the training sessions that works best for them based on personal preferences and geography. Baltazar travels to gyms and fitness facilities throughout the Denver Metro Area.
During a workout, it is sometimes helpful to my clients if I can physically demonstrate proper form or correct posture, for instance. I will always ask for consent first, explaining exactly how and why I am suggesting physical contact. Your feeling safe and comfortable is the top priority.
